73rd Tryon Block House Race

The 73rd Tryon Block House Races will be hosted at the Green Creek Race Course Saturday, April 11, 2020. Five races throughout the day will showcase the power and athleticism of the horse alongside entertainment, VIP dining, live music and kids activities.

SPRING’S BEST TAILGATING EXPERIENCE:
Grab your tailgate spot now and enjoy fun by the carload! Rail spots, tent permits and non-tailgating parking passes are available, alongside walk-up/drop-off passes. Or, reserve a VIP ticket and let us handle all the food for you!

CONTESTS:
Tailgating contests, best hat contests, and tacky pants competitions are not to be missed! Prizes awarded for each, with categories for best theme, most elaborate and more!

PRE-RACE CALCUTTA:
This pre-race party of dancing, food and fundraising includes an auction fundraiser benefitting Tryon Riding & Hunt Club, a live band, a cash bar, and plenty of fun! Join the tradition and buy tickets starting January 15, 2020.

KIDS ACTIVITIES:
From Hobby horse to face painting and more, there’s plenty for the kids to see and do at the Block House Races!
