Cherry Bounce Festival

Head to Forest City (60 miles southeast of Asheville) for a festival that celebrates local moonshiner Amos Owens and his corn whiskey-based “Cherry Bounce” moonshine.

A big concert in the Pavilion on Park Square opens the festival on Friday night at 7:30 PM (Gates open at 6:30 PM).

On Saturday, 10 AM-6 PM, enjoy fine arts and crafts, live music, and a wide variety of food—along with samples from local distilleries.
