Beer and BBQ Weekend

Registered Emberglow guests only.  Call the front desk at Emberglow 828-625-2205 to buy an Beer and BBQ ticket.  We need a head count ahead of time to order the beer and food.  If we don’t know you want to participate, there won’t be any provisions for you. There is also limited seating so call today to reserve you seat.

Friday Evening Feb 23rd  

Potluck of Beer: Bring 6 take 6. Bring six of your favorite beers or something local from your town.  Pick six to try from what other people brought.  Hang around and drink beer, talk about beer and enjoy other people who appreciate all things beer. Music, games and a fire in the community fire pit.

Saturday Afternoon Feb 24th 12:00PM-4:00PM

BBQ Lunch – BBQ from the Mountain View BBQ food truck  (included) and a lunch beer

Blind Taste Test Contest – Taste five popular mass market beers. Can you tell the difference?  Correctly identify the beers to win prizes.

Craft beer tasting – Representatives from three great breweries from Western North Carolina will be onsite to talk about their beer while you taste them.  Nine 4oz tastings in all.

• Iron Key Brewery – Columbus
• Dry Falls Brewing  – Hendersonville
• Pisgah Brewing  Company – Black Mountain

A  Beer Passport – Guest will be provided a Beer Passport to track the beers they are tasting and take notes on the ones they want more of.

Beer trivia –We will be asking beer trivia questions throughout the day to win prizes.
